Shame that these caps are so badly designed they will eventually be lost.

Same with the new survivor range the rubber bits are so loose to start off with. They fall off too.

I have had my Voyagers for almost 2 years now and have not lost the caps. They aren't that hard to keep up with and they don't just fall off.

If you own a Voyager or Survivor and have a problem with the casing, we'll replace it.

Re: Not happy with corsair 8gb memory stick

The problem is if you use the voyager/survivor on a key ring as they are designed for what happens is the rubber loosens over time and eventually falls off whether you take care or not. And everytime you remove the lid it expands and get looser. If you use the drive regularly it gets very loose very quickly.

I take a lot of care over all my IT equipment it's treated better than anyone else I know. Heck my two year old apple laptop still looks new! However every corsair flash drive I've owned has lost its lid or rubber sections. And the 50 or so I've bought for clients have nearly all had the same issue.

Its all very well saying you can get a replacement, but I haven't got the time to order a new lid every week for them. I asked a while back if I could get a few spare lids, but never received any.

It is a design flaw that corsair really need to look at.

This post may be a bit old but I enquired about the Cap on my 8 GB Corsair to Corsair who claimed they were sending me a cap and it never arrived and contacted them several times and they don't respond to emails. So I wonder if any others have got any caps replaced. ? So I dont believe that they will replace cap. As waiting for about 9 months now and thought that was more than reasonable time to wait.

a 5p lanyard on the cap would cure it, pass that to the D&R dept'

Why have you bought 50+ when you know about the cap problem? Why not buy a different brand etc?

Send me a PM with your complete shipping and contact information. I'll see that you get the caps.

Thanks for that appreciated. Couldn't see where to send apart from the marketing address so see if the email goes through first.
    Thanks
