    Will this void my Warranty?

    Hi,

I have just got a new case, but due to its design, the braded cables on my TX650W mean that I cant get them where I want them. If i can take a section of the brading off, to allow me to spread the cables out flat in the 24 pin connecotr, all will be okay.

but I didn't know if taking off part or all of the brading would void the warranty.

    Thanks, its an excellent PSU!

Are none of the Corsair reps at work today?

Anyone else know anything about this?

Yes we are but, keep in mind that there is at least a 5 hour time difference.

Removing the braiding will not void your warranty however, it is there for a purpose.

Ah okay, thought you were UK based. , and thats excellent. You've made my day.

Glad your not like some companies that say your warranty is voided if you even look at it.

Only removing a section of it so it can be flattened and taken round a part of my case.

    YAY! Corsair!

No, only removing it from the box or plugging it in will void the warranty.

Just kidding! Have fun with your new build. Post some pix of what you are doing if you have time.
