    glad I bought 8GB of ram then (yes it was corsair stuff)

    trouble is, that with using a single core 1.8ghz amd with 512MB ram for 7 years, i'm in the habit of closing down the things i'm not using. i close down games instead of alt-tabbing, the maximum tabs in IE i've had open is 5, i don't keep apps open, even if i know i'm going to use them again later. the list goes on.

    at least its nice to know that I could leave everything open and not notice any performance hit


    just need to figure out stable overclocks (not that i need them)
