    Corsair A50 Fan

    Hi,

I've just put one of these on my computer, and while the cooling performance is superb unfortunately the fan is making a very irritating drone noise. Using the provided resistor cable drops the tone of the drone, but it's still quite audible. Is it possible to remove the fan so it can be replaced with something else?

    Thanks in advance,

    Re: Corsair A50 Fan

Yes you can replace the fan with most other 120mm fans on the market. I strongly recommend Noiseblockers, but you might wish to have the fan RMA'd back to Corsair as it shouldn't be this noisy.
