    TX650 returns issue

My brother purchased the above PSU from overclock.co.uk about a year and a half ago, and the PSU has failed. Now the problem is overclock are wanting to charge various fees for testing the PSU (around £30). Now for a start it doesnt take more than a minute to jump a PSU and this shouldn't happen if the product has failed within the warranty period. Is there anyway the PSU can be returned directly or something done about these fees?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers,
    Craig

May I ask what the difference between TX650 and TX650M?

I belive the only difference is that the TX650M is modular while the TX650 is not

You are correct, the "M" is for modular.

    Re: TX650 returns issue

Follow up to this a long way down the line (sorry!) as I had forgotten I'd posted this, and only recently became active on the forum again.
Just wanted to say that following yellowbeards advice, corsair handled this very well and the PSU was replaced without fuss, and the new one has been chugging away in my brothers gaming pc for several months now.

Sorry its taken so long to round this thread up!
