ive re-installed my h100i into my new rig but the pumps working but the software isnt ... my system cant detect the h100i fan controls or information on corsair link or the rgb control please help its asif my asus maximus ranger mobo cant detect it

I build a new system 2 weeks ago and I had the exact same issues. The fans were spinning at max speed for hours. Turns out it had something to do with with some power saving issue and needed a registry edit. Unfortunate I don't remember where I found it but this should send you to the right direction?

Are you guys using the latest Corsair Link SW? It should be version 3.1, http://downloads.corsair.com/content.xhtml#
Also, make sure that USB drivers are up to date. I would try using a different USB header as well on your mobo and see if the detection issue would persist.
