    Memory Performance

    I currently use 4x1GB DDR2 6400. Would i see a noticeable performance increase by switching to 2x2GB (or even 4x2) DDR2 8500? (CPU is AMD 7750 with Vista64)

The main reason to make a change in this case would be to gain a better overclock. 4 modules place a greater load on the memory controller and you'd likely get a better OC with 2 modules. Other than that, GoNz0 is correct, you'll never see the difference in daily usage.

I had a feeling that might be the case. Cheers for the advice.
