    have CM2X1024-6400C4D want TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX will it mix?

    I'm thinking about getting

    Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX / 4GB PC2-6400 800MHz / XMS2 DHX Xtreme Performance TwinX Matched DDR2 Dual Channel Memory

    Most likely it will work but it cannot be guaranteed to be stable. We do not recommend mixing different memory together as it may cause instabilities.

    Just running memory tests now, had to clock down the memory a little because of the poor memory controller (new mobo's would prob be fine as they have much better controllers these days (my P5K @ work is nice)
    My main point is that in my experience the different modules are running perfectly together on this hardware :-)
