    DDR3 Question

    Hi Guys

Im running TW3X4G1600C9DHX on a XFX790I Ultra board and im thinking about getting another 4gb, my question is has this board and memory been tested upto 8gb with all 4 slots taken up.

I ask this becuase i was running a Abit 32xMax which is a NV680 board, it got funning running 4 stick of 1gb 8500 due to the chipset

    cheers

    Re: DDR3 Question

We have not tested this board 4up with 8GB total. In general, this chipset will do it but, at a reduced speed as compared to running 2 up due to the load on the memory controller.
