    Cm2x2048-6400c4dhx

Any known issues with running 8Gib of this on a Rampage Formula? I'm struggling to get the machine to POST with all 4 modules, can get it running with 6Gib tops. The RAM works fine in my P5B deluxe wifi.

No issues I have seen. Typically with 4 up you are going to have to increase the memory controller voltage to run stable.

Any pointers on how high I can safely go on the volts?

No, I don't have the Rampage here to personally test. It seems like the 1.35v to 1.5v range is suitable for most and safe based on what I am seeing online. Just make sure your NB is well cooled if you elevate the voltage.

Ok, will give a little higher than 1.39v a shot. Airflow in the case is good, and the Rampage has a whacking great heatsink on the NB, so cooling shouldn't be too much of an issue.

No dice, it gets up to 1.5v then starts bluescreening on boot with 6Gib, and still won't POST with 8Gib.

I'm hoping I'm not going to have to RMA the board

Completely clear your BIOS, set the RAM timings and voltage manually, and test each module individually for 3-5 passes each with www.memtest.org

Just as an update to this - it looks like the board is crackered: it won't POST whenever DIMM_B1 is populated, regardless of the RAM.
