Question TR3X6G1600C8D & TR3X3G1600C8D, will they play well together?

    As title really,

I currently have 6GB kit of TR3X6G1600C8D & would like to increase the RAM.

I'm thinking of getting a kit of TR3X3G1600C8D,

Will these 2 kits work well together?
keep in mind that system is very heavily clocked.

I see 2 potential issues. You "might" have to lower your OC due to the load on the memory controller. And, it is generally not advisable to mix 2 different densities of memory on the same board. In a lot of cases, it will work but, there are no guarantees.

The only way to know will be to install and test.

Your best option would be to add the EXACT same memory kit. However, the OC limit may still apply.

Same answer as above. A 12GB kit is your best option as they are tested together.
