    Twin2x2048-6400c4

    Hello. I was using two sticks (2 X 1GB) of TWIN2X2048-6400C4 on a Gigabyte MA770-UD3 without issues at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1V.

I recently installed another 2 X 1GB of the same stuff but the system is unstable. Getting errors with prime 95 and memtest . The latter pair alone are fine. The problem is only with all four dimms populated at once. I have manually set the timings to 4-4-4-12 @2.1V.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BlackEdition
    MA770-UD3
    620HX PSU
    1 TB WD HD

    Any suggestions welcome.

Your running 800Mhz RAM @ 2.1v O.o I dont care what timings their running at 2.1v seems overkill for 800mhz/6400 RAM !
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Voltage for the memory has nothing to do with it. 2.1v for CAS4 is typical and is certainly not overkill.

The issue is likely that you need more voltage to the memory controller. 4 modules is twice the load of 2 on the memory controller and the stock voltage will not likely get the job done.
