Welcome and a question anout TwinX XMS2

Hello and welcome to hexus.

Now the question I purchased the bellow last August

2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-12

I cannot get it to run at 5-5-5-12-T1 but only at 5-5-5-12-T2 on my M2N-E. I wonder if this is problem with the board. Any insight you can give will be greatly received.

are you sure they are supposed to run at T1

I always thought most memory is supposed to run at T2 and if your lucky T1

The above is taken from the scan website about the memory, it states 5-5-5-12-T1.

humm i dont think they are ment to run at T1

what performance diff is there in T1 and T2

From what I have seen there is not a huge difference in actual usage. It averages about 15% I think and 1T will increase FSP in some cases. The biggest difference is in benchmarks.
