    Dell Dimension 8200

I have a fairly old Dell Dimension 8200- it's got an Intel P4 2.53 MHz Processor, with a 533 MHz FSB. Right now it has two 256mb RIMMS install for a total of 512 MB. Belarc System Advisor says that they are running at PC800.

I want to upgrade to a full 1 GB of RAM. The trouble is that I'm having a very hard time locating memory that I'm sure will be compatible. The only things I've seen are on eBay which go for about 140 GBP (which seems like a lot for 512MB of RIMM memory).

    Any chance you could advise?

    Cheers,

You can try the Corsair Memory Configurator linked here to see if we have any compatible memory. However, I don't think we keep RDRAM in stock any longer.
