for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
I linked pack to post 1429 which had the review.
Here is the review link:

The FX4100 is still better value as it can overclock to FX4170 speeds even on the stock cooler.
OTH,the Core i3 2100 has now dropped in price too,so for gaming is a better choice.
BTW,if you look at the leaked Trinity slides,it looks like the specifications of the 17W quad core have been unintentionally leaked:
http://www.nordichardware.com/images.../Trinity_4.jpg
So it runs at a base clockspeed of 2GHZ and the IGP runs at 424MHZ.
Wonder if it can turbo at 17W. Still, for Brazos power requirements that should be quite interesting.
The FM1 platform uses substantially less power than a SB based platform, surprisingly. I expect Trinity to use less power at idle and load than the old FM1 platform.
If Trinity were to be within 10% of even Sandy Bridge, let alone Ivy bridge and they got VCE working as well as the Intel SDK, then for me, Trinity would be a no brainer.
However I bet neither of the above will be true. I suspect I'm going Ivy Bridge, but am waiting to see what Trinity can offer me.

Yeah, even Llano power consumption is incredibly low. I have some measurements at the wall from my A6-3500 system with 8GB 1600 DDR3, Crucial M4, WD Scorpio Blue (which I found adds roughly 2 watts to consumption, so minus that if you're using only an SSD), M-350 PSU (80plus standard rated, a PicoPSU or newer low-wattage PSU should do better), Sony Optiarc DVD drive + a few fans.
25w idle
55-65w peak Truecrypt benchmark (I found this peaks higher than IBT on most CPUs I've tested)
72w CPU+GPU combined load, MD5 search program which uses more power than games, especially on the GPU (comparable to Bitcoin)
59w peak during 4-thread 7-zip benchmark
32w 720p h.264 playback in VLC
Ironically, my D510MO Atom board by itself on a PicoPSU uses about 20w idle...
Trinity is competing against the Intel dual cores with HT,ie,the Core i3 and certain Core i5 and Core i7 models(which are also dual core despite the naming). Vishera will be the CPUs pitched against the Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs although it should be at least Q3 2012 before we see them.
Looking at the clockspeeds of the A8-5800K,I suspect it should be in between an FX4100 and an FX4170(maybe nearer to an FX4170) and that would mean in games it would be a bit overall slower and in multi-threaded applications faster than a Core i3 2100. The IB Core i3 CPUs will not be out for a while and most still will only have the HD2500 IGP. Compare that with an IGP which should be at least faster than an HD5570 GDDR3 GPU(the current HD6550D is around HD5550 GDDR5 level performance and at times can be around HD5570 GDDR3 level speeds),I suspect it is going to be a good all round package.

Ouch.. I thought the desktop variants were coming out at the same time. I did read that FM2 boards were out in June though... But now it seems that's been pushed back to August. It's a long wait for me then.Originally Posted by IT168 Translated:

Doesn't sound right to me TBH.
I dunno what I'll be doing. Although I don't game much, I'd still think of myself as a casual gamer and the Trinity graphics looked good to me. I was thinking of picking up a 1440p 27" screen sometime during June, after my exams, as well as upgrading to Trinity.. Llano performance is good enough for me at 1080p though as a casual gamer. Not to add that the CPU idles at less than 20 degrees in my 3L ITX case!
EDIT: Well IB is too expensive so I guess I'll stick with Llano. If the pricing is right for AMD's ultrathins I'll be jumping on one. I doubt they'll be releasing soon though as we barely have any IB ultrabooks.
I'd wait to see what happens on the 15th, up to now I've read it's likely both desktop and mobile will be released then. Of course, nothing is confirmed either way.

I would imagine the rumours about an August launch are for the Desktop Piledriver CPU not the APU. Seems unlikely that you can launch a mobile version of an APU without the ability to make the desktop version, they should be ready to go at the same time and if not at the very latest a month apart.

Yeah something may be getting lost in translation, and that's assuming it's genuine anyway.
Supposedly Vishera will be released on the 27th of September:

More rumours that desktop Trinity is pushed out:

Guess there are still supply constraints then, can't imagine why else they would do that.
Late socket change decision perhaps? Fun guessing
Edit to add: I was going to put this in a new "AMD - Piledriver Chitchat" thread but wanted to get this thread to 100 pages first
