    Cool Show us your 'OC'

    By providing an overview / summary of overclock settings should help people with their own overclocks.
    With a list of settings to analyse it could be possible to make assumptions and apply simple overclocks with the right equipment.

    Please post your setting or images of your BIOS, so that people can see how you achieved the overclock.

    (N.B. using settings contained within this thread are done at your own risk)

    Re: Show us your 'OC'

    I had originally used 1.385v on the CPU but this seemed to cause stability issues while gaming in BF3.
    The voltage is probably higher than is required, but as it is stable I am happy.

    Specs
    CPU = Q6600
    MB = Asus P5K-E
    RAM = Kingston HyperX 6400
    Cooler = Titan Amanda

    Overclock settings
    Clock = 8
    FSB = 400
    Frequency = 3.2GHz
    PCI-e = 100
    CPU Voltage = 1.4675v
    FSB Termination voltage = 1.40v
    North Bridge Voltage = 1.55v

    I used Prime95 to stress the CPU
    I also used GPU caps to put load on the GPU. (The load was not full as prime hogged the CPU making things difficult)
    CPU-z to show the overclock and core Temp to show the temperatures.

    Gigabyte EX58 UD5
    6gb Patriot Ram 1600Mhz
    Noctua UH-12

    I used the excellent guide from Nightkhaos here (http://forums.hexus.net/cpus/168306-...beginners.html) and then just played with it. Tested with Prime 95 it tops out at 80C. Idles at 42C.

    Turboboost - disabled
    CPU Clock ratio - 19
    BCLK - 200 MHz
    Loadline calibration - enabled
    Ram - 1.64v, 8-8-8-24
    PCIE Clock - 100Mhz
    XMP - Disabled
    Vcore - 1.18v

    What configuration setting have you used for this?
    Did you just apply a 1.18v to the CPU and it auto configured to 3.8Ghz.
    FSB, PPL, NB, etc etc

    Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H, i7-3770K, stock Intel All-in-One Liquid cooler

    EasyTune6 - 46x104.5 overclock (4810 MHz) 1.236 volts at load, 84c

    Manual Overclock
    CPU load line calibration was set to Extreme
    At 1.100 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 45x, giving 4.5 GHz. This gave 70ºC , and showed a load voltage of 1.116 volts.
    At 1.150 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 46x, giving 4.6 GHz. This gave 75ºC , and showed a load voltage of 1.164 volts.
    At 1.200 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 47x, giving 4.7 GHz. This gave 82ºC , 86ºC with OCCT, and a load voltage of 1.212 volts.

    ASUS P8Z77-V Pro

    Auto Overclock:
    (Fast)41x on the multiplier and 102 MHz base frequency, ending with 4182 MHz overall
    (Extreme) 46x103.8 (4774 MHz). 1.280 volts at load, giving an immense 94ºC

    Manual Overclock
    PLL Overvoltage was enabled.
    At 1.100 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 45x, giving 4.5 GHz. This gave 68ºC
    At 1.150 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 46x, giving 4.6 GHz. This gave 76ºC
    At 1.200 volts, the highest multiplier that was stable was 47x, giving 4.7 GHz. This gave 83ºC, 86ºC with OCCT
