    Re: 965BEe which cooler

I'm using an air cooler/heatsink in mine. coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo on my amd build. It's pretty damn good for the price to be honest, about 20ish quid. According to my fan controller, my temps are about 21-23 degrees general use and when gaming about 30. That's using a phenom II 960T BE.

I've also heard good things about the corsair hydro units. Hope this helps!

If you're looking for good value HSF, I recommend CM Hyper 212 Evo or Enermax ETS-T40.
    I'm using CM 212+ with 2x Thermalright TY 140 for my unlocked X4 B55 @ 3.7GHz and I'm satisfied.
But if I'm going to buy one right now, I'd get the Enermax.

Do not rely on your fan controller to give you acurate readings

Unless he's overclocking or wants something really quiet then there isn't really any need to change the stock cooler.

The stock cooler would be fine for normal use. Can get a bit noisy under heavy load.

Ïf you do want a good cooler for overclocking, get a hyper 212 evo. I have it with a push pull config on my OCed phenom and its awesome.

I Agree with Deejay i tryed my 212 Evo with Phenom2 965 and with my FX8120, and it keeps good temperatures OCing and gaining about 1 GHz in the last one
