A6 3500 with dgpu

Hey guys,

I have a family member that has the chip listed above and he also has an AMD 6670 GPU so I was wondering if it was at all possible to have crossfire type thing (obviously not actual XF) so he can use both igpu and dgpu to increase FPS during gameplay?

The A6 certainly supports dual graphics, and the 6670 is one of the cards that works with dual graphics!

Hmmm, according to AMDs website the recommended card for an A6 is the 6570. Apparently if they bought the APU as a processor-in-box (i.e. retail packaging) there's meant to be a bit that says which graphics cards are supported. Otherwise they can just try it and see if it works - it's not going to break anything if it doesn't

Thank you for your reply. I was in two minds about it, I vaguely remember reading something about it just couldn't remember what exactly, it was either that or I imagined it. The latter could have happened without a doubt haha.
