i5 4570, stock cooler just fine?

I'm planning on a new system build and wondering about my cooling options. I only plan on having a modest overclock on a 3470 (just eeking out 3.6 most likely) . Is it worth getting a cooler for it beyond the one in the retail box? I know they have improved massively, so can they take the strain?

Are we talking 3570k or 3470?

3470, not sure what happened to my fingers when I typed the title, must be losing my mind!

Stock is perfectly fine then, you can't overclock anyway.
