    I7 3770k Cooling

    Guys

I have the majority of the hardware for my new build with the exception of a cpu cooler.

z77e-ITX motherboard with I7 3770k, planning on overclocking to 4.5. Any recommendations on a good cooler please? Like it to be as quiet as possible.

    Thanks.

You can always try Xigmatek Thor's Hammer with some custom fans, on eBay for £15.99 without fans. Or try to run the i7 even without fans . Can't go quieter that passive cooling.

depends on your budget and how big your case is, if neither apply, then a NH-D14 is one of the best air coolers around

I concur. I have the Noctua NH-D14 cooling the exact CPU, awesome is an understatement in my view. If you're going with the NH-D14 then you'll more than likely need to have low profile RAM, otherwise the heatsink won't fit. It's more expensive than other coolers, but in reality you're paying for what you're getting - top of the line cooling.
