    Need a replacement fan..

I know this is OLDer stuff. I plan to build hubby a newer one next year. In the mean time I need to find a replacement fan for a cooler master A9025-22RB-4BP-F1, my cpu is intel core 2 duo quad E 8400, it is set in a silver stone slimline case(Black SilverStone Sugo Series Micro ATX SFF Computer Case, w/ 80mm Intake Fan, Model: SST-SG02B-F-USB3.0) , a MSI G31TM-P21 motherboard.
    Any help would be great.

    Re: Need a replacement fan..

It seems that the particular fan is 90cm. Standard replacement fans come in at 92cm

What model CPU cooler is it? It would help to know as it may require a 90cm fan as a 92cm fan may not fit

    Re: Need a replacement fan..

This one is advertised as 90cm as is also 4pin which is what the old one was

Actually I wouldn't trust that description as a lot of sellers advertise 92cm fans as 90cm

let's see what cooler it is mounted to first

    Re: Need a replacement fan..

If a 92mm fan is a bit big for the fixing holes, it's only 1mm filed off each hole to get it to fit. Personally, I'd use Noctua given the choice.
