i am planning to get a new cpu and i just found this

i dont no if i should got for it if has only got 3 logical processors but more "cores" when my one has 4

Put straight the FX-6300 is the better buy

Cores does not mean anything, it's the chip architecture and other factors that makes it a winner or a loser.

It's cheap on sale right now and for it's price its a very good deal. It does depend what you will be using the processor for mainly?

Are you saying this would be an upgrade from an X4 945?

It isn't so much of a huge upgrade from the Phenom ii to the FX Piledriver chip, but overall it is better. I say go for that. It's really cheap now, just £93 at scan.
