The game appears to be much GPU limited at normal resolutions even with a GTX680,although with those sort of framerates it is a bit moot anyway.
Would be nice for 3D though!
EDIT: Oh and that's only at high settings, and maybe not with maxed armies.
As we saw on the test you linked Starcraft can still bring a 3770k below 30fps average.

Would a 4770k be more futureproof because of new consoles?
Anyone got links to what the TDP (or better, real world wattage) of these with the graphics disabled would be?
I'll probably pick one of these up, seems to be a pretty solid upgrade from my E8400
But it's really annoying that we don't get anywhere near the true RRP for these goods when exchange rates are factored in...
