You think I haven't read all the reviews?

If you think games love clockspeed why are the 3.4ghz tests practically the same as the 4.6ghz tests?
Because these tests are limited by something other than the CPU the majority of time.

If you aren't CPU limited then of course you don't need to upgrade.

I think your over estimating the performance gain going from Sandy bridge to Haswell by some way. Your percentage performance increases are negated by a 400-500mhz bump in clock speed in the majority of situations and the majority of 2500k's can beat the majority of 4670k's by this margin and more.

If Hasswell was as fast as your making it out to be after around 4.0Ghz~ the 4670k should start opening up a gap over a 2500k at 5.0Ghz, yet we don't start to see that untill around 4.5Ghz and sadly this is the point most 4670k's start to run out of steam.

If you take the average overclocked Sandy, Ivy and Haswell they will all perform within a tiny margin of each other, they all offer essentially the same performance.
