AMD APU A8 6600K Black Edition Vs AMD Athlon x4 760k

I was wondering which is *better.
AMD APU A8 6600K Black Edition Quad Core Processor OR AMD Athlon x4 760k. (*better meaning in gaming performance and running at cool tempretures.)

I believe the X4 760K is just a A series with no onboard gpu in which case the 6600K is 100mhz faster and has very good inbuilt graphics. I really don't see why they did Athlons on FM2 as to me it completely misses the point of the FM2 platform.

They did Athlons on FM2 because some parts had "broken" iGPUs and there are users (like me) who wanted FM2 platform and already had discrete GPU. In such a case cheap(~70 bucks) and unlocked FM2 4T Piledriver part is perfect choice.
