Some conformation on the H100i / H80i AIO

Having decided on my course of action I'm thinking of getting the H100i (it's only £12 more than the H80i at SCAN).

Could anybody who already has one of these just confirm for me that it's supplied with non-PWM fans.
I get the impression that Corsair expect you to use the bundled software for fan control but I would prefer a more automatic system given the choice.

And...Have you replaced these with PWM fans.

And...if so, have you noted any noise reduction over the supplied fans.

    Thanks

The fans are PWM, they are plugged in to the waterblock with the fan adaptors and can be controlled if you use the included usb cable to hook it up to your mobo and use corsair link to control them.

I have the H100i - The fans were doing their auto thing out of the box

The noise level on the stock fans was higher than I wanted so I replaced them with Noctua fans which dropped my temps by about 4C while running A LOT quieter.

IIRC, you should be able to connect the fans to a front I/O panel switch or an aftermarket controller, too...

I have a controller for 4 case fans that get a good work out in the summer. But I would rather let the software look after the CPU.

Re: Some conformation on the H100i / H80i AIO

I posted this earlier to the Corsair Support Thread but do any of you H100i owners have any ideas?
