    I would say if your really that concerned just buy the new z97 boad and chip to go with it. Then you know it will all work fine and dandy as it should.

    As to hyperthreading you just have to hope the software/game is suitably well written to use it. Clearly ARMA isnt

    well i'm trying to avoid buying a new board at this point in time. i want to save major upgrading for when some good, true 8 cores come out. but if i am going to help someone out by selling them my sandy bridge chip, then it'll be an ivy bridge chip that i get this time round. i might as well, instead of getting another sandy bridge i guess.. i don't know what i'll end up doing yet. but an i7 would help with my video editing stuff at least. cheers.
