    Overclocked RAM W/ CPU

something ive been worrying about when looking for a new CPU, is the amount of clock speed i can have on my RAM, with the budget i have i want to buy a i5-4670k, but looking at the cpu it says 1600Mhz, but the ram i want runs at 2100Mhz, is there a process to get the cpu to accept much higher clock speed? Thanks in Advance Mike1282.

    Re: Overclocked RAM W/ CPU

For Intel memory overclocking you need "Z" class motherboards, the other chipsets will allow only to run your memory modules at the default supported speed by the CPU (like 1333Mhz for SB or 1600Mhz IB).
Otherwise any such motherboard will allow you to set the memory speed independently of the CPU speed.
If you don't overclock, the RAM will just slow down to the default RAM speed.

    In nutshell: if you
