Looking for a cheap cooler
I'm currently trying to attain a decent CPU cooler for an Intel 4460 for around £30. So far, from the snooping around on review sites I've been doing, there's nothing concrete or consistent on the entry-mid level that stands out as being particularly value for money. The case has a cooler clearance of 167mm and the RAM is sink-less, so no restrictions there.
Also, I'm a UK resident, so please hold back on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo recommendations. :p
Re: Looking for a cheap cooler
Have a look at the Raijintek range over at OCUK. They are relatively new in the UK and offer very good performance at cracking prices. The £27-30 ones offer particularly good performance for the money. Another one that is fantastic value is the Deepcool Lucifer at £29. It comes in at 168mm including the fan but you may be able to mount it a little lower to give you the extra couple of mm. Alpenfohn also do some good priced coolers. There's the Brocken Eco at £25 and the Matterhorn Pure Edition at £30.
At the end of the day you can't overclock so could get away with one of the smaller Raijintek coolers.
