Did anyone manage to get a 5900X?

Enough to clear the order back orders/queues? Almost certainly not, it would appear at this point.

The queues as you know are in the thousands, and that other place got what, a re-stock of 200 for November... and some prior expected re-stocks that didn't happen, judging by reports.

Unless the situation dramatically improves in December (not sure I would bet my house on it), then many people will be waiting till New Year, or getting lucky with stock alerts at places that didn't implement a back order system.

Either pre-order and wait or use things like telegram to notify you of a drop really quick.

I saw 5950x on CCL yesterday, was buyable by humans, but still gotta be vigilant because even things that are up without bots buying everything instantly it's still gone in a few minutes.

Just like RTX 3080, 5900x seems like the hardest to come by (which makes total sense since they both occupy the perfect balance between price and performance imo).

Just got one today. Tried for 3 weeks daily. What a mission!

Got mine just before Christmas by camping out on the Currys website.

Unfortunately the same tactic is not working to bag a 3080.
