Good cpu cooler under 50 for r5 5600x?

I'm looking to get an r5 5600x going onto an msi b550 gaming edge WiFi in a phanteks p400a, I'm hoping to do a little bit of overclocking and just overall keeping temps down so I'm wondering if there is much point in me upgrading the stock cooler, I mainly play games and do a bit of streaming. Should I get a good cooler below 50. I've been looking at the Arctic 34 esports duo, any help appreciated, thanks!

Re: Good cpu cooler under 50 for r5 5600x?

I have an Arctic Esports (not the duo) on my 3700X, which came with a slightly better cooler than the 5600X comes with. Even with one fan it did improve my build times slightly, and although I don't think it is any quieter the noise is a little nicer for me.

Note that temps didn't seem to drop, instead the boost clocks stayed higher under load. But faster works for me.

I currently have a R5 3600 in a Phanteks P400A (great case for air cooling by the way).
After researching that the stock wraith coolers could be better, I opted getting a cheap(ish) aftermarket cooler, as having one with the fan facing front to back will help airflow and cooling considerably.

My CPU currently hovers around 65-70C at high % loading, whilst gaming. I'm guessing that the 5600X will be similar.
Ryzen CPUs have a tendency of running warmer than Intel chips.

I've had a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler on my i5-6600k for 4.5 years now, never had any problems or needed to do anything with it since installing it 4.5 years ago! (Idle temps after 4.5 yrs 25-30c)

It's one of the highest rated cheap and cheerful aftermarket cpu coolers I believe

The Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 V2 is even cheaper than the Hyper 212 EVO and apparently just as good according to reviews I've seen.

Yeah that cooler is amazing for the price, my friend has it and an i5 6600k clocked at 4.8ghz, it does a good job of keeping that very hot cpu cool.

Re: Good cpu cooler under 50 for r5 5600x?

I was going to suggest the Noctua NH-U12S that I use on my 3600 but it seems to be a bit pricier than when I got it (cheapest is about 57 quid I think right now)
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.

I went for a be quiet dark rock slim, it's cool and quiet and looks nice . Cooler Master 212 Black is a cheaper option that performs similarly.
