This techspot is benchmarking 11600k £250 vs 10600k £200 and 5600x £320 with obvious conclusions considering current pricing. It's pretty clear to me AVX-512 is hurting the 11600k frequency and overclock potential and not sure what real world improvements AVX-512 offers. For gaming an o/c 10600 at current pricing looks a no brainer.

If you get a 10600KF, are you forced to buy the premium motherboards to get ram above 2333? I think I saw something about them adding support for higher memory speeds with 11th gen, but not sure if this will also apply to 10th gen?

AFAIK,B560 and H570 should be fine if you want faster RAM. I don't think the CPU can be overclocked with those chipsets.

The MSI Z490's don't suffer from memory speed restrictions and are now getting quite reasonably priced. Z490-A PRO £140 - MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS £145 - MAG Z490 TOMAHAWK £166 etc
