Thanks again everyone for all of the responses.

So there's no monitor that is better than TN for gaming without being a TN itself? lol

If you had £10,000 to spend on a monitor, and you wanted to be able to watch DVD's in HD and you wanted to play Crysis, then what would you get??? Oh, and for all intents and purposes, let's pretend that there is no such thing as a monitor larger than 24"

    Thanks

Hazro HZ26Wi or HP LP2475W or BenQ FP241W. Those three seem to have low input lag and are good once calibrated (or so I read up on). I wouldn't want to try and game on a Lacie pro monitor (that sell for like £3k or more)..I'm not too sure if there are any differences and whether it would effect gaming.

These are the specs I think I'm looking for, after reading some more info on TFT displays:

    19-24"
    Overdrive (RTC tech)
    2ms GTG

so now I'll look at the three you mentioned and see if they meet these standards

I've a L226WTQ, and given a bit of a tweak the only thing to take away from it's awesomeness is the viewing angles, but that's a TN for you.
