Are there any, like, 32'' or 34'' that give out higher resolutions thatn 2560x1920 ?

How come though, I would expect that there would be a market for GFX artists or CAD/CAM designers etc.
They exist, but aren't much more than tech demos, like when NHK showed off a 7680 x 4320 screen a few years ago.
They only make up a tiny percentage of the market.
TBH a 30" for most people is more than enough including those who do a lot of Photoshop. If anything resolution is more important especially with higher MP cameras becoming more common.
The problem with anything signifcantly larger than 30" would be the fact you would need keep turning your head just to get to the other side of the monitor unless you want it a few feet away.
At least with multiple monitors you can orientate them better for your field of view.
If flexible or curved monitors were made perhaps a larger size would make more sense.
Generally the bigger the screen the further away you need to be from it, in order to take it all in. 30" is huge for most monitor purposes - and as mentioned before most people that require more screen estate have a dual monitor setup, and use it to extend the desktop. I guess the only reason someone would need a monitor larger than 30" would be for video editing, in which case you would use a lcd tv instead, surely.

If you actually want a huge monitor for general work could you use a 1080p TV set. The resolution will be good enough for most things, and they are avalable in huge sizes.
I agree with chrestomanci. I'm using a 37" 1080p telly as my primary monitor and it's great!
