Need help on buying a few new screens.

Currently using my computer on a 50" LG TV... Which while its good for some things, isn't really ideal.

Just ordered a computer desk and im looking for 2 or 3 23" screens.

Main use is Graphic Design, Web design, some photo work, ALOT of web browsing and some gaming (gaming may increase once ive built my new system)

I initially looked at the Samsung LS23A300BS £122 @ Scan

but after reading a few other threads it seems i may need something better quality like an IPS monitor for colour accuracy... which lead me onto the Dell UltraSharp (e-IPS) U2312HM £186 @ Amazon.

What type of screen should I be looking at?

Money wise I don't want to be spending much over 300 per screen if I can help it. If it does mean I need to spend more than that then I'd buy a screen at a time when funds allow.

    What do you think?

    Dell LED IPS: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/215-d...1-250cd-m2-5ms

    LG LED IPS: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/215-l...-50000001-vesa

Resolution is the same despite the small drop in screen size.

I have made a list of screens under £300:

    http://forums.hexus.net/pc-hardware/...ml#post2150598

I would suggest looking at the Asus PA238Q which has a 10 bit LUT and is meant to have decent calibration out of the factory.

It can be had for under £220:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/23-as...oogle+shopping

Even though it is a 16:9 ratio monitor it would be my choice for a monitor under £300.

Have you got an ATI card for eyefinity use or are you using several GPUs?

Neither, still running my old system for the time being

Monitor turned up today, and it looks great really pleased with it. The only problem is that everything is ghosting... I am still using VGA as this is running on the old system for the time being. Is it the VGA causing the ghosting or something else?
