    Unhappy pixel death advice ?

My Dell U2311h has suddenly developed, either that or I hadn't spotted, a stuck(ish) region.

Right at the top centre of the screen about half the size of the windows7 pointer is a triangle of grey pixels.

Monitor less than 1 year old and I can't afford to buy another. Should I send it back? Don't really want to have to send it off - I'll be without a screen.

Bought from Aria last Feb and paid for no-dead pixel check so presume it wasn't there before - if it was they didn't do their job properly.

    Re: pixel death advice ?

Don't say that, I've got one from the same deal coming up to about a year now!
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: pixel death advice ?

will it get any worse do you think? I've never known such a large region to suddenly go pop. Heard of pixels getting stuck, but not a triangle like this.

Can you show us a picture? I'd send it back, surely you can borrow a screen from somebody.
