    Asus VE278Q 27" LED Monitor V Asus VE276Q 27" LCD Monitor

    Hi

    I am think to get Asus VE276Q 27" LCD Monitor or Asus VE276Q 27" LED Monitor.
    The Led is about 15 quid more do you think is worth the extra if so why?

    LED should run cooler and at lower power; should also last longer as there isn't a fluorescent lamp to fail.

    Would you also say Giraffe that led monitors also have smoother backlighting and some models have better contrast and colour reproduction with local dimming and rgb leds.

    I'd say scrap the 3" and get a u2412m
