    dell ultrasharp, blurred?

Wonder if anyone had any idea why a tft would look blurred?
    I have a Quadro FX1400 runing a 1900FP ultrasharp and a
HannsG HU196D monitor. The ultrasharp was slightly darker
than the Hanns, but the picture on the dell was slightly better than
the Hanns. I just switched them on 20 mins ago and instantly saw the
dell was a tad blurry. I hadn't altered any Nvidia settings or pressed
any of the monitor buttons, apart from on/off. The Hanns looks fine.
I will swap the leads round when I go for dinner.

    Re: dell ultrasharp, blurred?

Connected via VGA? Not running in the LCDs native resolution?
    Just a few ideas..

Yes it was connected with VGA, but it's worked great for 6 months.
    it's running at native res.

I switched monitors and they are both sharp now!
Have to guess it was unpluging and pluging in again that cured it..

    Re: dell ultrasharp, blurred?

If it's connected via VGA, always load up a test pic in fullscreen and let the monitor(s) do an auto-calibration (most of them should have a button for that).
If you use DVI instead, there's no need to do this (the auto-config button is actually disabled when using DVI on all LCD monitors I've encountered so far)

    Here's a test pic for 1280x1024 (most non-wide 17-19" LCDs)
