I work for AOC UK managing the distribution and reseller channels, i have been working in the IT industry for 20 years, 15 of them for manufacturers including Gigabyte, Abit, PNY and QDI.

As you can see by my registered name, I am not here to hide and recommend AOC to you from a dark corner!

If there is anything i can do to help, please get intouch, I will be posting new products etc however i am here to help whenever needed.

I'd like to remind members that if they see anything they think might be in breach of Hexus's forum rules, they should use the "report post" button, rather than just commenting in the thread - that way the mods and admins can take any action they deem necessary without risking an escalation of problems in the thread

Sorry, hadn't realised that he had actually broken any rules yet, just that he was possibly going to - hence why I thought I would make sure he was going to clear it with you guys before he did break any rules.

Apologies i have only recently started to register on some forums and completely forgot about the Hexus rules, hence my open post.

OK, so i will not be promoting new products and I will refresh myself on Hexus rules to see what i can do, unless I can get my hands on one of those manufacturer links!

That's fine, but often it's better just to drop a report with "do you know about this" rather than posting on the thread - reports come direct to mods emails so we can check things like this out with Hexus staff (remember, the forum mods and admins don't work for Hexus, we're just friendly volunteers ) before threads get filled with suspicion and recrimination It also gives the staff and opportunity to approach potential new commercial partners confidentially to discuss terms of operation and suchlike. And if we do end up with threads that need moderating or deleting, that can be easier when there's no replies to the thread.

AOC - I certainly didn't intend to give you a wrist-slap, but you need to be aware that Hexus as a commercial entity does have procedures and rules in place with regards to commercial activity on the forums. The staff team have been notified that you're interested in working with the Hexus community, and I'm sure someone will be in touch with you to get the ball rolling
