Korean Monitors: Yay or Nay?

All in the title. I'm planning to buy an R9 290, and want a 1440p cheapo monitor to accompany the beast. Will a Korean monitor fit the bill?

There is debate about this else where, I am currently using a crossover 27qw and can't say enough good things about it, just make sure you order a pixel perfect one.
