    XL2411T Rev2 vs XL2420T Rev2 vs Asus VG2428QE

    Hi

I have read around the internet about these monitors as they are supposed to be best 120/144 hz monitors for gaming.

I see the scan will soon have the XL2411T Rev2 and XL2420T Rev2.

I was drawn to the BenQ monitor due to the flicker free feature. I like the idea the Asus g-sync feature but was put off by some people having head aches due to the PWM feature.

What are people opinions about these three monitors.

From what I see 2411T is the same as the 2420T but with out the s-switch and different looking screen edge. (where 2411 is £40 less than 2420)
Do people really change monitor profiles that much?

Are there any other monitors people can recommend?

I've just ordered the BenQ XL2411T from Scan, I was looking at several others but settled on this due to the price point and no gain for the extra cost.

I'm really impressed with this monitor and would highly recommend it, the colour, brightness and contrast needed configuring to stop my retina's burning out but once that was configured the colour looked great (coming from a 5 year old Asus 24" monitor)

The 144Hz makes this thing run as smooth as butter in BF4 and Dayz standalone. I would recommend this monitor.

Just wondering how you configured monitor? Did you follow any base settings?

I did notices that Scan only just got both of them but stock is going quickly.

    Re: XL2411T Rev2 vs XL2420T Rev2 vs Asus VG2428QE

    Hi,
I have the contrast at 0 so I don't burn out my retina, the brightness is as standard. RGB are 28,21,24 but you will need to tinker as my monitor seemed to lean to the Blue more than anything. The Black EQ is set to 1 but I may turn it up a little.

I use all the other settings on standard, I run it through a DVI as the HDMI would only run @ 60Hz for me and looked terrible. The DVI runs at 144Hz no problem at all, the only issue I have run into is that when I try to play a youtube video whilst running @ 144hz the graphics goes but that isn't really a problem for me and will probably be a flash/gfx issue I think.

I must sat that after nearly a week of playing BF4 and DayZ standalone my gameplay experience is significantly better, My K/D ratio on BF has gone up and I can actually hit stuff with a sniper rifle at range, DayZ standalone looks so nice and smooth that its makes the game so much more enjoyable.

But I would like to stress that I came from a 5 year old 24" Asus monitor to this so I noticed a big difference.
