note the zero dead pixel thing is a Dell warranty. it applies to Dell monitors purchased from any retailer and applies for three years on their U series monitors. Possibly the P series too. It does not apply to other series which can have up to 5 dead pixels IIRC.

Ah thats good to know, I thought all their monitors were the 5 pixel warranty so I went somewhere that said in big writing zero pixel (it also happened to be the cheapest at the time).
