Could anyone suggest to me a good IPS monitor for gaming?
    Cheers

If competitive gaming then forget IPS. If just casual then we like the Dell ultrasharps

I'd actually be interested in hearing how the Dell UltraSharp U2414H performs too. The bezel is so thin that it'd probably make for a great dual-monitor setup and that's probably next on my list of purchases. I just wish it came in 1920x1200. :|

If you want a good compromise between picture quality & response times, this is supposed to be pretty good:

    http://gaming.eizo.com/products/foris_fg2421/

It uses a VA panel instead of IPS, which is supposed to be a bit better than the usual TN panels found in most gaming monitors, & it's 120Hz too. It's not cheap though, naturally.

Well I've been putting the monitor through its paces in Titanfall and haven't ran into a single issue with it - no noticeable ghosting or any response issues. In fact I'd go as far as to say it's more response than my old (albeit cheap) acer monitor. The design is really sleek and coming with an already calibrated setting specific to the monitor in the box is really good - calibration is as easy as changing the colour mode to sRGB. The touch controls can be a little slow to respond, but that's all so far that I can fault with it.

Also something I didn't read anywhere was that it comes with Dell Display Manager, which provides a set of grids to which you can snap multiple windows. I can't see myself really using it casually, but for work it'd be incredibly useful.

Yes I'd already looked at it before this but the price tag was quite a letdown.
