I find that not looking for faults and just enjoying the games you play is a much better upgrade than nitpicking and finding fault in everything.

Wassogood about 16:10? I thought everything was sort of 4:3 ratios 'cause that's what Tele is in and that's what your eyes are meant to see like. Is 16:10 super bettererer?
What about 1440p and 4K though, aren't they back to 16:9 ratios?
Yes. Because the only thing people do with their computers is watch widescreen movies. I thought everyone knew that?
5:4 is even better, by that measure
I do miss my 2048x1536 CRT monitor - afaict you simply can't buy 4:3 monitors with that high a res any more (which is odd given you can get 9.7" tablets with it...). There are lots of purposes for which a 1.4142:1 monitor would be ideal, but try finding one of those (or even working out what resolution is would be ).
EDIT: OK, a quick google shows that HTC were prepping a 9" Nexus tablet with a 2048x1440 screen, which is probably as near as you can get to the 1.4142 as you'll get....

The 3:2 display on the Surface Pro 4 is quite nice.
While I'm not a fan of 16:9, it's ok on large high res displays, good for two window action.
I still use a 1920x1200 24 inch monitor. It's nice to have slightly more vertical space if you use your computer for anything other than movies. I mean its a bit silly to have 16:9 computer monitors since most of the usage is absolutely nothing to do with movies. I can understand having 16:9 TVs but computers have many other purposes!
