Re: Monitor and then GFX upgrade
Are we talking backlight bleed across all IPS panels that aren't priced in the £700+ region or specific models?
Additionally, I was reading about Freesync 2 but unsure if its worth holding out for a bigger choice of monitors to be made available. HDR isn't on my list of must haves, but I do like the idea of the lower framerate range it supports - or is that just LFC? Im still a little confused :(
Oh and frustratingly a 1080 can be had for under £500! https://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-...-graphics-card

V64 is faster than 1080, so costing a bit more is to be expected
Re: Monitor and then GFX upgrade
So after going through a few more reviews and finding out some more about panels and shortlisting 4, Ive just come to a stalemate. They all seem to have quite vociferous widespread problems - mainly that the IPS (AVHA) and unacceptable level of blb. These are:
Acer XF270HUAbmiidprzx 27''
ASUS MG279Q 27
BenQ ZOWIE XL2730 27
AOC AGON AG271QX
Not to mention these are all from 2015/2016, which just boggles the mind that they arent doing more with IPS and freesync + 144hz.
Im tempted to go with the ASUS model but its the oldest of the 4.
What do you guys reckon?
