Ah right, the one I mentioned is 21:9 though still haven't actually seen one personally but going to go with it.

Ah right, you will be good going with a curved monitor with that aspect ratio. You are in for a treat! very immersive especially if you are into driving games.

    Re: Curved Monitor

Well turns out I needed to go back to a flat screen for some 3d projects so have now got a 4k samsung monitor however going back to flat is an experience all on its own. Having used curved for 3 months going back to flat makes it look like the screen is bulging outwards in the middle! Going to take my eyes a while to get back to viewing properly but its a strange effect!

    Re: Curved Monitor

I decided to go with a Flat monitor instead
The reason is when I’m viewing something from afar sitting/standing/walking I fee the angle is better for me

    Re: Curved Monitor

A friend of mine has a curved monitor. To be honest, I didn't understand much of the meaning in it. It is much more comfortable to work with a standard monitor with a not too large diagonal. I work mainly with documents, so the huge area only bothers me.

    Re: Curved Monitor

Is there any meaning in a curved monitor? Not too sure what you are saying really.

And a standard monitor with a not too large diagonal? They all have diagonals, so do you mean it is comfortable to work with a small monitor? What size would be too big for you?

    Re: Curved Monitor

I work on a laptop with a 15 "screen. Moreover, I have been working on such a screen for many years. I do not know. maybe it's a habit, but large monitors, over 20 inches, are very inconvenient for me. Unless they are perfect for watching movies.

The PC has a 24-inch monitor, my husband changed the monitor a year ago. I still can't get used to it.

    Re: Curved Monitor

I've recently switched from a flat monitor to a curved one and to be honest, I don't really notice a difference. Apparently curved monitors helps reduce the stain on your eyes, but some would argue its all just a gimmick and would eventually phase out.

    Re: Curved Monitor

I switched from a flat 25" screen to a curved (1500R) 34" ultrawide one for working from home (rather than getting a second monitor) and really like it. To be fair, I don't know whether a flat version would've seemed just as good. The only thing that bothered me was having to switch from IPS to VA to one at a reasonable price.
