New monitor needed, to fit existing space 60x45cm

My Iiyama E2208HDD monitor appears to be on the way out, its taking upwards of 2 minutes to switch on first thing in the morning.

I have cash available and am hoping to get a new one, but it must fit in the existing space which is max 60x45cm.

A TV would be a suitable alternative, I'm not a gamer, high refresh rates arent important. I do watch the occasional HD video, but only at 1920x1080. Dont need anything higher than that. It is on pretty much all day every day.

Recommendations please ??

Will this go on the provided stand or have you got a mount the screen will screw into?

Wall Mount VESA, its not the diagonal thats important but the overall size which is given in specs, I now have a few shortlisted, Ill list them later.

A Dell Ultra Sharp is always a safe bet. Whilst I've gone ultra wide in my latest screen I wanted more than 1080 height for working. 24" 1920 x 1200 would be my pick, unless you can find a 25" of the same ilk that fits.

If you want to more than double your money (£354) then the U2520D bumps the resolution to 1440p. Dimensions (WxDxH) - with stand: 56.77 cm x 18.5 cm x 38.29 cm

All their 25" ones are the same money, either USB-C or gaming as the buzz words.

The U2412M (£172.80) is the one you'll find in most offices when someone sensible has done the order and not just gone for the cheaper 1080p screens:

Aside from being really thick this Philips 252B9 (£180.56) looks like a nice little step up from the U2412M and would give you a slightly bigger screen (smaller bezels as well):

the U2414 is worth a look if you can find it. Zero bezel, only 1920x1080 but good colour reproduction once calibrated. Just remember if you use HDMI to set the graphics card to full 0-255 range or it will look wrong!

I remember IPS being good for photo editing, that swung it in the end, along with the 3 yr warranty.
