    I got what is now quite an old Acer XB270HU.
    1440p 144Hz and (I believe) 1ms response, 27" but I'm sure there are other sizes in the range, G-Sync, DP only but has four USB3 ports.

    I'd certainly not want to go back to 1080...

    That looks like the one my wife has, didn't know you could still get them. It's been a decent monitor, though she occasionally get problems alt-tabbing back into games where I think the Freesync messes up so you get a blank or corrupted screen until you alt-tab a few more times or turn the panel off and on again. I would hope that bug would be fixed by now. That's using it with an RX480, with probably some rather out of date drivers by now.

    Could be a driver issue then, I'll be getting the cards first, then once whichever card I dont keep goes I'll get the monitor.
    At the minute though its possible that the 3080 will arrive first as they're staggering the launch dates so its possible I'll just get a 3080 a monitor and not bother with the 3070 at all..

    From a quick Google it was a monitor issue, but for me it isn't a deal breaker.
