Samsung QHD monitor broken - Amazon

Bought it yesterday as a deal £199.99, rrp £300. Good deal, arrived with what looks like a crack and it's just depressing. The display was a upgrade over my previous optix monitor which has a blown cap on the board but I don't want to break the LCD. So Amazon want to refund me and I've accepted as it was sold by Samsung so no replacement. Does anyone have a recommendation for a monitor upto £200. I'm fine with HDR 1080p or 1440p 144hz. Minimum peak brightness should be 300 (of whatever that unit is )

Are you sure? 300 nits (cd/m^2) is pretty bright. I calibrate my monitors to 120.

Try this, which might be the same as your previous one, but it's still recommended.

Yea, I have the lower tier to that exact monitor, mine ran at 250 peak but it was a little dim for my Blu-ray's. Price is as bit inflated on that with a lot of the prime deals, I won't be going 1080p in my bracket without some form of quantifiable HDR
