Getting back into PC gaming, predominantly flight simulation, I was wondering what the best screen ratio is. I'm currently using my 'emergency' monitor with my refurbished Windows 10 PC. It's a 24-inch 4:3 1080p monitor.
I want a larger size (around 320inches, ideally) but it's the screen ratio that intrigues me. A few years ago I had an Asus ultrawide curved screen monitor that was pretty good. But the lack of vertical height (resolution) was sometimes problematic. Is there an ideal screen ration for simulations and would a curved screen be better?
Due to a severe lack of space I can't do a 2- or 3-screen setup currently.
